Placement Overview
The M.Tech in Computer Aided Structural Engineering (CASE) programme at IIIT Hyderabad has an excellent placement record. Although it is a relatively young programme when compared to conventional structural engineering programmes at other major institutes, the curriculum and the technical as well as extra-curricular activities at IIIT Hyderabad have contributed to the all-round development of students with strong adaptability and learnability skills.
Each batch, consisting of approximately 25 students, typically receives offers from various national and multinational companies by the end of the programme. Students of the programme are often appreciated by employers for their strong foundation in structural engineering, software skills, programming ability, and diverse technical knowledge.
The programme prepares students for opportunities in structural engineering, design, computation, software-enabled engineering workflows, and multidisciplinary technical roles.
